My First Formal Portrait

Britany Bolton
Today in photography class I learned a few things about Self Portraits how to balance the lighting in the picture making sure my ISO is correct stuff like that I decided to over expose the picture because of the lightning. I took a Self Portrait of my teacher Derek also holding a picture of himself with the phone as you can see.

Black & White

Britany Bolton

Today I learned about F-stop, Shutter Speed and Aperature. F-Stop means the amount of light that passes through the lens. Shutter Speeds controls the amount of time light is allowed to hit the film or imagining chip. I easily caught on and shot a few pictures all in the same day. I wanted to find something different, creative in a unique way. This is my first black and white photo. I think sometimes black and white can create a better way of seeing things than in color. Also I used the camera in manual learning how to adjust the time and F-stop just right.

Something different

Bike Trail Bench

by Britany Bolton
This is my first photograph of symmetrical. Symmetrical is similar parts facing each other or around an axis. I like it because its different in my own unique way.

Last night

This is actually a picture of a leaf that fell from my tree thought it was pretty cool so I took a shot of it
