Trip to Frisco

Britany Bolton

I'm always in San Francisco but the day I went with my photography 2 class for an field trip is a day I will never forget! The road trip wasn't as long as usual because I was entertained with the ideas and advice everyone was giving, honestly I didn't have a plan of what I was going to shoot so I just went with my instinct. As I was shooting I noticed I had to adjust my settings frequently because some pictures came out over and under exposed. After I got back I uploaded my pictures to light room thanks to my teacher Derek I had fun with the different presets to choose from.. Like I said this is an unforgettable trip to Frisco!!!

Chalk Photography

Britany Bolton

Today my class and I did chalk photography of a group of three. We decided to be butterflies trying to fly away before we get caught in the net. I had a good time trying something new.

Flicks at the Zoo

Britany Bolton

Last week I had a blast going to the zoo and taking pretty cool pictures. I realized I had to frequently changed my ISO and making sure the exposure was just right it took awhile for me to adjust but after playing with the pictures in the light room I am now comfortable with the pictures I took.

Architecture and Urban Landscapes

Britany Bolton
This week in my photo 2 class I learned about Interior View, Detail, and Big View.
Interior View of the Del Paso Heights Library. I used black and white and made sure my ISO was correct for indoor shooting.

This is a Detailed View photo I took focusing on the book at a different angle trying to make the book stand out and everything around out of focus. Also in black and white

This photo is the Big View focusing on the outside of
the building and the name.

My first HDR photo

Britany Bolton

So today in photography class I learned about HDR this is the best lesson so far. when I took this picture I used a tripod making sure my camera settings are accurate and to find the perfect lighting and shaded area. When uploading my photos to photomatix it was a brief and easy steps on turning it into HDR quality.

Killing Time

Britany Bolton

I woke up one morning with nothing to do, trying to figure out what I'm interested in on my free time other than reading or writing. I realized that shooting games are amusing to me. As time went on I played Call of Duty and got better challenging other people to play. This game has defiantly killed my boredom.

Love Music

Britany Bolton

I took this picture because it expresses who I am. Music is important to me because it gives me an indescribable inspirational feeling to keep moving on to a positive future. The beat and rhythm of a song is what I like the most about music its like it has its own language. When I'm feeling down as I start listening to song I acknowledge that this artist is going through something similar to what I'm going through.
